The Balsara Family Takes Action!

By Lily Philipov

Two kids thought about how healthcare workers are struggling to help save infected citizens, they decided to do something about it. They began to work. Saina and Amay Balsara have created over 1,000 bags since March.  They’ve raised $680 through fundraising. In an interview, I asked them “What inspired you to start making these snack bags?” They replied with “We just realized how much trouble they (healthcare workers) are going through for us,” “and then we realized that with all this hard work they might not have enough time to pack or buy food.” These siblings have created something extraordinary, taking work off of healthcare worker’s huge plates. So be sure to help them by donating! You can find them on Facebook at: Helping Heroes! Millburn Kids Intiative.
