My So Called Life (1995)
My So Called lIfe is a teenage tv show (great to watch if you are craving some teenage school drama) which takes place at Liberty highschool in a suburb near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania called Three Rivers. It’s about a girl named Angela Chase who is 15 years old, she is trying to figure out who she is as a person. Angela stops hanging out with her old friends and finds a new group of friends. Angela’s new friend Rayanne Graff is making Angela try all these new things. This tv show deals with teenage themes. Throughout the whole show there is acrush between Jordan Catalano and Angela. Angela is played by Claire Danes, who was a very well known actor. Claire Danes was in Romeo and Juliet, Stardust, shopgirl, and many more. My So Called Life is 95 percent on average audience score, it’s a tv-14, and you can watch it on amazon prime. This show will draw you in, and won’t want to stop watching. Enjoy!
Outer Banks(2020)
If you enjoy a breathtaking teen drama topped off with a bit of action, you should definitely give the tv show Outer Banks a try. This show is based on a small island called Outer Banks in the Carolinas. The show follows a group of 16-year-olds who are called the “Pogues” because they are considered to be poor. They are rivals with the rich kids called the “Kooks”. The protagonist is called John B, his father had just recently disappeared off on a boat, to try and find the ship called the Royal Merchant, which is supposed to hold lots of gold worth 400 million dollars. John B’s father left him a set of clues to where the gold is located, so John B and his friends set out to try and find it. They have some hiccups along the way because John B and his friends are not the only ones who are looking for the gold. Go check it out to find out more! This tv show is a Netflix original, so you will be able to find it on Netflix. The show is tv-ma and it gets a 86 present average audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. This show will hook you right away, and you won’t want to stop watching!
MAGIC FOR HUMANS(2018)
Magic for Humans is an American reality TV show. This show features a magician/comedian called Justin Willman who walks around the streets and does magic tricks for people. He doesn’t just do just regular magic tricks, he once persuaded someone that they were invisible which was quite funny. Justin Willman mixes good natured magic with some very entertaining amusement. His goal is to blow people away with his illusions and magic tricks with no camera trick. Justin Willman makes himself disappear, float, and even turn into lego. You can find this show on Netflix, and has 3 utterly amusing seasons. The show gets an 84 percent on rotten tomatoes average audience score, and is tv-14. This show will leave you jaw-dropped, so go check it out!
Brooklyn 99 (2013)
Brooklyn 99 is a police drama /comedy based around a group of detectives, living in Brooklyn. This team of detectives has just gotten a new overly serious boss. The tv show is about the detective’s personal lives as well as their line of work. One of the detectives is called Jake Peralta, who is very childish, doesn’t follow the rules, and is very carefree. Amy Santiago is very needy and tries to be a complete perfectionist. Rosa Diaz is a very tough person and gets frustrated very easily. Gina Linetti is not always the smartest in situations, but more than everyone gives her credit for. Captain Ray Holt is very serious and no one can read his emotions. Charles Boyle is a hard worker and tries hard to get Jake and Rosa to like him, and sometimes even too hard. Sergeant Terry Jeffords tries to be tough and is also a well-developed family man. Scully and Hitchcock are good friends and are a bit helpless sometimes. Brooklyn 99 gets 93 percentile on average audience score and is tv-14. This show is a big cast and is a show to enjoy over the long quarantine! Stranger Things
Stranger Things is an American drama/horror science fiction TV show, created by the Duffer Brothers . This fascinating show is a mix of investigative drama topped off with supernatural horror elements. The whole TV show is based around a group of 12-14-year-olds who are all best friends who get into problematic situations with monsters as well as their friend 11 who has supernatural powers. There are 3 seasons with a 4th coming out soon, all available on Netflix. Winona Ryder who is a very popular actress plays the role of Will’s mother. Will is one of the boys in the group of friends that the story Stranger Things is based around. She is an actress in Heathers (1988), Beetlejuice (1988), Little Woman (1994), and many more famous movies and TV shows. Stranger Things has a 91 percentile on the average audience score on Rotten Tomatoes, Stranger Things age rating is a TV-14. This show will leave you amazed by its incredible storyline.
