Feeling bored is no for anyone, especially in quarantine. This article will change that, introducing a fun and exciting way to draw… ZENTANGLES!!! Check out the video below on how to draw these incredible designs!

Rick Roberts and Maria Thomas originally created the idea for Zentangles. Thomas created botanical prints and sold them together with Roberts. Customers often said that they wished they could draw and print as Maria did. They stated that they did not have the time nor talent to draw so well. Rick and Maria soon noticed that the prints were easy to draw, and some of them didn’t take a lot of time. They remembered all those people who wanted to be creative but couldn’t invest the necessary time. They created the Zentangle method of drawing. There are now millions of different tangles to explore!

For the Zentangle art you will need:
EITHER
A piece of paper
A pencil
OR
Special Zentangle black paper tiles
Special Zentangle white gel pens
I will be using the Special Zentangle equipment in my video, but you don’t have to, just be creative!
